Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to Lakeland Animal Care Group.  We do understand that sometimes adjustments to your scheduled appointment are necessary.   We respectfully request that you notify our office via phone call, test message or email to cancel or reschedule your appointment with no less than 24 hours notice.

Please understand that when you forget to notify us of your schedule change and/or fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.  Thusly, we are instituting a strictly enforced 24 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.

As we try our best to contact clients to remind them of their appointments, it is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure they have the correct date and time for each appointment booked for their pet.  

 

No Shows or Late Cancellations For In Clinic Appointments

As of January 3rd, 2022, Lakeland Animal Care Group will now be charging a fee of $50.00 +GST, which will require payment before another appointment is booked or service is performed.  

 

No Shows or Late Cancellation for Farm Calls and House Calls 

As we are a mixed animal practice, we do often leave our clinic location to visit certain clients at their homes and/or farms.  The fee for failing to give us notice of your schedule change will result in being charged a travel fee (based on km from the clinic).

 

We would like to thank our new and continued patrons for supporting us in this joint effort to ensure our clients are able to receive prompt service.
